Privacy basics for Tool & Tally.

This page explains the limited information Tool & Tally uses to scope, prepare, check, and communicate about a website checkup request.

Data used for a website checkup

Business details. Business name, website URL, service area, industry/service type, and the website action or question to review.
Contact details. Customer email and request ID for payment, status, report-review, correction, and support communication.
Optional context. Competitor URLs, public review/source references, notes about website confusion, and other owner-approved public pages to review.
Payment details. Card and payment processing details are handled by the approved payment provider. Do not send payment card numbers through a website form or email.
Generated work records. Tool & Tally may create request records, receipt/invoice files, draft email/status files, evidence notes, screenshots, and report draft files needed to produce and review the checkup.

How the information is used

Customer information is used to validate the request, create the payment/request record, prepare and check the report, communicate status, handle corrections or support, and maintain internal quality records.

What should not be submitted

Do not send login credentials, private analytics, private customer lists, medical/financial/legal records, payment card numbers through a website form or email, or private data that is not needed for a website clarity review.

Retention and deletion

Tool & Tally keeps request, payment-status, evidence, and report records as long as needed for service delivery, support, quality review, and ordinary business records. For deletion or correction questions, email hello@toolandtally.com. Some records may need to be retained when required for payment, tax, accounting, dispute, security, or legal reasons.
