Privacy policy
Privacy basics for Tool & Tally.
This page explains the limited information Tool & Tally uses to scope, prepare, check, and communicate about a website checkup request.
Data used for a website checkup
How the information is used
Customer information is used to validate the request, create the payment/request record, prepare and check the report, communicate status, handle corrections or support, and maintain internal quality records.
What should not be submitted
Do not send login credentials, private analytics, private customer lists, medical/financial/legal records, payment card numbers through a website form or email, or private data that is not needed for a website clarity review.
Privacy-safe action measurement
Tool & Tally records limited action counts such as a tool calculation, request-link click, sample-link click, or payment-availability action. Stored analytics contain the page path, an approved action label, broad action details, and a one-way hashed per-tab session identifier. They do not intentionally store form contents, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, full website URLs, URL query strings, or the raw session identifier. Cloudflare processes ordinary request metadata to operate and protect the site.
Retention and deletion
Tool & Tally keeps request, payment-status, evidence, and report records as long as needed for service delivery, support, quality review, and ordinary business records. For deletion or correction questions, email hello@toolandtally.com. Some records may need to be retained when required for payment, tax, accounting, dispute, security, or legal reasons.
