Estimate Request Readiness Checklist

A plain-English checklist for service businesses that need visitors to request an estimate, quote, inspection, consultation, or service visit.

No guaranteed lead, revenue, ranking, booking, or ROI claims. This is a owner worksheet for finding request step confusion.

Checklist

Eight sections to review

01

First-screen clarity

Can a visitor tell what the business does, where it serves, and what to do next within a few seconds?

02

Estimate main button

Is there a clear request button such as “Request an Estimate” or “Schedule an Inspection” near key decision points?

03

Mobile path

On a phone, are the request button, phone number, and next step visible and easy to tap?

04

Form confusion

Are required fields reasonable, next steps clear, and error/confirmation messages understandable?

05

Phone readiness

Is the phone number consistent, click-to-call friendly, and clear about urgent or after-hours paths?

06

Trust near request

Are reviews, trust details, warranties, certifications, photos, or reassurance visible before the visitor commits?

07

Service fit

Can the visitor tell whether their job type, location, budget/fee situation, or urgency fits the business?

08

Fix notes for changes readiness

Can each issue become a clear website-provider task with screenshot, wording, acceptance criteria, and retest step?

Scoring

Simple 0–16 score.

0: missing, unclear, or likely confusion.
1: present but weak or inconsistent.
2: clear, visible, and easy to act on.
Turn Visitors Into Customers bridge: if issues appear, convert them into screenshot-backed fixes, severity/confidence/effort scoring, and a website-provider notes for changes packet.
